World Car Of The Year is a global competition for the Car of the Year. This prestigious competition is held regularly every year. Selection is made by selected journalists from around the world.
World Car of the Year (French Prix mondial de la Voiture de l'année), a Global Car of the Year is a prestigious competition to choose the best car every year. The competition takes place in several categories. Winner of the Grand Prize Cars (World Car of the Year) must of course also excel in many areas, winner of the Sports Car (World Performance Car) must demonstrate high performance and sporting ambitions. The other two categories are Design Award (World Design of the Year) and the price for ecological car of the year (World Green Car).

Every year dozens of nominated vehicles. The main criterion is that the vehicle is sold simultaneously in at least five countries on two continents. The nominees selected cars jury of 47 motoring journalists from more than twenty countries.
