Opel ecoFLEX uses as an indication of their environmental releases an especially low carbon dioxide emissions.

Opel indicates organic versions of their cars as EcoFlex. These cars have a particularly low level of emissions of carbon dioxide . Opel currently offers across all model lines produced ecoFLEX variant.


The first model of this series was the Corsa 1.3 CDTI ecoFLEX, which only produces 119 grams of CO2 per kilometer and consumes an average of 4.5 liters of diesel per 100 km. The engine of this car was given the title of the 2004 Engine of the Year . It features a high-injection common-rail pressure of 1400 bar. The engine performs up to five high-pressure injections per operating cycle.
