EFT (Electronic Brake Prefill)

An electronic system that defends the sudden approach of gas immediately brake pads against the discs and shorten the rise time of the brake.

EFT (Electronic Brake Prefill) is an element of active safety systems developed by BOSH. If the driver suddenly releases the accelerator pedal, the system electronics EBP shall conclude that it is a possible emergency situation. Electronic Brake System Prefill immediately brake pads closer to the brake discs. This will reduce the rise time the brakes and simultaneously and braking distance . EFT system works with brake assist .
