EAS system is electronically controlled air suspension cars from Continental.

English acronym EAS Electronic Air Suspension hidden label for electronically controlled air suspension cars. This system developed by Continental. EAS adapts damping and spring characteristics based on current conditions and requirements.

Principle:

Instead of conventional coil springs are used in the EAS system as a unit damping spring struts and air springs. With the electronics can thus regulate the pressure in these měších and thus spring struts and damping characteristics.

1 - air spring with electronically adjustable shock absorber, 2 - auxiliary air tank, 3 - vehicle height sensor, 4 - acceleration sensor,
5 - ECU (control unit), 6 - and distributor of compressed air pressure sensor, 7 - compressor, 8 - compressed air tank, 9 - dashboard and drivers
