According to the regulations each car must be equipped with two independent brake circuits. In other words, when a brake circuit fails, the vehicle can be stopped with remaining.

Dual circuit brake system (English - dual circuit brake system) shall comply with emergency braking. This means that the failure of one brake circuit should still work the second circuit. There are many kinds of diagrams and double brake circuits.

and / TT standard connection - each side is hampered by one axle

b / The diagonal connection - each side is hampered by one front and one rear wheel (always diagonally)

c / HT involvement - one circuit brakes front and rear axle, the second circuit controls only the front axle


d / LL involvement - each circuit brakes front axle and one rear wheel

e / HH involvement - each circuit brakes all round
