Power steering Dualdrive designation is used by electric power steering Fiat brand. As the name suggests, this provides two power management modes: "Normal" and "City".

Electric power steering Dualdrive ™ offers two different modes of power management efficiency. The driver can easily use the button on the dashboard select between "City" and "Normal Mode". In the "City" electric power will increase its effect and helps the driver more control when turning the wheel. Such a regime should be used primarily in the cities, especially when parking. The disadvantage of using an enhanced effect primarily during normal driving is weakening the feedback from the wheels to the driver. Too sensitive power steering also makes it difficult to directly drive at higher speeds, the car over-reacts to a small force into the steering wheel. For these reasons, switching the "City" signaled indicator on the dashboard. The "Normal" will return reinforced the effect of electrical power to the standard level.
