DAM (Driver Attention Monitoring)

DAM of the English Driver Attention Monitoring, or monitoring the driver's attention.

The purpose of DAM is to prevent second sleep , so it is an element of active safety. The system works with sensors that detect the position of the driver's body, eye fatigue, audio speeches, etc. All the information is evaluated and, if necessary, system warns the driver from the second sleep .

Today there are many such systems, which directly or indirectly, and police are testing the driver's alertness. ( Audi Lane Assist , Honda LKAS , DAC , Citroen bills, ...).
